Transfer and merge tables
Move an order to another table, or combine tables when a group joins up.
Transfer a table
- On the table screen, choose Transfer.
- Tap the table whose order you are moving, then the destination table.
- The whole bill, sent items included, moves across. If the table's food has already been served, a manager's PIN is needed to move it.
Merge tables
- Choose Merge, then tap (or drag) one table and then the table joining it. If one of the two has an open bill, that table leads the group and keeps the bill, whichever you tapped first.
- To separate them again, choose Split (undo merge) and tap a merged table.
Note
Merging is refused when both tables already have an open bill — settle one, or Transfer its bill to another table, first. The till reports a merge or a split as done only once the server has accepted it; a refusal says why.
