Set up NFC for staff cards

Enable tap-to-sign-in on an Android tablet with NFC.

  1. Check the tablet has NFC and that it is switched on in Android settings.
  2. Enrol staff cards — see enrol an NFC staff card.
  3. On the sign-in screen, hold an enrolled card to the tablet's NFC spot (usually the middle of the back).
Note

NFC sign-in and NFC approval work only in the IBEX Android app — not in a browser or the Windows app. No separate reader is needed.
