The print service (Windows app)

The helper inside the Windows app that prints silently to USB and network printers.

Updated 30 Sep 2026Hardware & Devices

The Windows app includes a small print service. It starts with Windows, listens only on the PC itself, and sends receipts and kitchen tickets straight to the printer — no print dialog. It drives USB printers installed in Windows as well as network printers.

  1. Install the Windows app — the print service comes with it and starts at every sign-in to Windows.
  2. To check it, open http://127.0.0.1:9110/health on that PC — you should get an answer.
  3. No answer? Sign out of Windows and back in, or run the installer again.
Note

The Android app prints to network and Bluetooth printers by itself and needs no service. A plain browser has no silent printing — it opens its print dialog — so use the Windows app on a PC with a USB printer.
