Enrol an NFC staff card

Give a staff member tap-to-sign-in.

  1. On an Android tablet with NFC, in the IBEX app, open Admin → User Management and edit the staff member.
  2. Under NFC Card, tap Scan NFC Card and hold their staff card to the tablet.
  3. Save. The card now signs them in — and a manager's card can approve requests that ask for a manager's PIN or card.
Note

NFC works only in the Android app — elsewhere the field says Requires the native app. IBEX stores a one-way SHA-256 hash of the card's ID, never the ID itself. Use staff cards only — never bank cards or phone wallets. Remove card takes a lost card off.
