Set up a kitchen screen
Turn a tablet or PC into a kitchen display for one station or for all.
- Install IBEX on the kitchen device and connect it with the setup code, like any terminal.
- Sign in and open the Kitchen KDS card.
- Pick this screen's station from the tabs (or All). Stations are your Print Areas — see kitchen stations and print routing.
- For paper at the station, add a kitchen printer and switch on Print tickets automatically.
- Send a test order and check the right lines appear.
Note
The Kitchen Display is on the Pro and Enterprise plans. The kitchen's part ends at Mark Ready — orders leave the screen when the floor hands them over. On a Windows kitchen PC, answer yes to the installer's kitchen-screen question so the PC never sleeps.
Tip
Mount the screen where cooks can reach it to tap Start Cooking and Mark Ready.
