Read a ticket and mark it Ready

Work a ticket on the kitchen screen from Sent to Ready.

Updated 30 Sep 2026Kitchen Display
  1. New tickets arrive as Sent, on the tab of each station they cook at.
  2. Tap Start Cooking when you start the order.
  3. Tap each line as you go (Waiting → Cooking → Done) — optional, but it is what fills the per-dish kitchen report.
  4. Tap Mark Ready when the food is at the pass.

A Ready card says what it is waiting for — the waiter or the till to mark it served, the counter to hand it over, or the rider to pick it up. It leaves the board as soon as that hand-over is recorded.

Tip

Mark Ready only when the food really is at the pass: waiters and riders act on it, and a waiter can mark a table served only after the kitchen has marked it Ready.

Note

There is no Bump on the kitchen screen — handing the food over is recorded by the floor, not the kitchen. A takeaway handed to its customer counts as served.
