Reports overview

The reports IBEX gives you and where to find them.

Updated 30 Sep 2026Reports & Day Close

Open Admin → Reports & Analytics and pick Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month or Custom. You'll find:

  • Revenue, orders and average order value, day by day — plus revenue by platform and by zone.
  • Sales by category and payment methods.
  • Waiter performance.
  • The Kitchen report — prep and ticket times (with the Kitchen Display).
  • The tax summary, tax return and tax detail, and the hourly revenue heatmap (Pro and Enterprise).

Shift figures live in the Manager portal: End-of-Day Report (X and Z), Staff Performance and Shift Management.

  • Live Monitor — its first tile, Gross sales (before VAT), is the open day's Gross Sales, the same figure as the X-Report (with no day open: today's completed sales, on the same basis). Its trend compares with the same hours yesterday — green when up, red when down. Active Orders counts open bills opened today or yesterday; older ones are counted apart as “N older bills still open (see Bills)”.
  • Shift Management — opens and closes the day. Its Working now card lists who signed in on a till or screen in the last 15 minutes, or took sales since the day opened. It is not a time sheet: there is no clock-in.
  • End-of-Day Report — the X-Report while the day is open, the Z once it is closed. Net Sales = Gross Sales − Discounts; voids are shown for information only. See close the shift and run the Z-Report.
  • Staff Performance — with a day open, the same figures as the X-Report; with no day open, today's paid sales on that device.
Note

Reports are for managers and admins — the server refuses them to other roles, and serves the Pro reports only to restaurants whose plan includes them. A locked card names the plan that has it. A report or Manager tab that cannot read its figures says so and offers to try again, instead of showing zeros or an empty list.
