Split a bill by item or by guest
Divide one table's bill so guests can pay separately (Pro and Enterprise plans).
Tap Split Bill in the order panel and choose a split mode:
- Equal Share — set the Number of Guests (2 to 8); IBEX divides the total, tax and fees included, into equal shares.
- By Item — assign each line to the guest who had it; a line with several of one item can be shared out by quantity.
- By Seat — uses the seats set on the lines.
- Take each guest's share with Cash or Card on their card in the split window.
- Print a guest's receipt with Print Receipt.
- The bill closes once every share is paid.
Note
Once a guest has paid, the way the bill is divided is locked. Split Bill is not offered on deliveries, and on the Starter plan it shows locked.
