Receipts or tickets stopped printing

Work through the usual causes, fastest first.

Updated 30 Sep 2026Troubleshooting
  1. Check the printer's power, paper and cover.
  2. Open Admin → System Settings → Printer Health — it shows each printer's last print and failures in a row.
  3. In Printer Targets, tap Test on that printer.
  4. Network printer: on the same network as the terminal, with its IP address unchanged. Bluetooth: still paired, and printing from the Android app. USB: on the Windows PC, open http://127.0.0.1:9110/health — no answer means the print service isn't running.
Tip

A test print is the quickest diagnosis: it prints → the printer is fine, look at the routing; it doesn't → look at the printer or its connection.

Note

Kitchen tickets come from the kitchen screen's automatic printing (or from the till on a plan without the Kitchen Display) — check that device when tickets, not receipts, are missing. A ticket that fails to print is reported on screen and retried.
