What riders see and do on their own phones.

Riders use the IBEX Rider app on their own Android phone. A delivery assigned to them simply appears — there is no accept step — and moves through these states:

To collect

Assigned to the rider. Picked up from restaurant becomes available once the kitchen marks the order Ready; before that, the rider can hand it back with Return to dispatch.

With you

On the way. Call and Navigate reach the customer.

Delivered

The rider records how the customer paid — cash (the app works out the change), card (with the slip's approval code) or already paid — and enters the customer's code if the restaurant asks for one.

Failed

Can't deliver, with a reason. It is not a void: the order goes back to dispatch.

Note

Orders paid online show Paid: the rider collects nothing. The You are online switch tells the restaurant whether to send new deliveries, and the rider's location is shared only while the app is open on screen during a delivery.

Important

Each tap — Picked up from restaurant, Confirm delivery, Can't deliver, Return to dispatch — needs a connection. With no signal the app says “No connection - this was NOT saved” and nothing is recorded on the phone: tap again when there is signal. A run the phone cannot close at all is closed by a manager on the dispatch board with Mark delivered or Mark failed.
