Configure location, hours and the business day
Set where you are, when you're open, and when your business day turns over.
Locations
Each branch's address and phone are entered in the setup wizard's Locations step and print on that branch's receipts. The main location is the one your website and online orders use. To change them, re-run Restaurant Setup.
Opening hours
Opening and closing times are set in the wizard's Operations step. Your website takes orders only inside the Online ordering hours set under Admin → System Settings → Online ordering, by the restaurant's clock — with none set, it takes orders at any time while online orders are on. Outside those hours, or while online orders are paused on the same card, it takes no orders and tells the customer why. The hours shown on your website's Contact page are edited under Admin → Website Content; once online ordering hours are set, the website shows those instead.
The business day
- Open Admin → System Settings → Business day and order numbers (admins only).
- Under New business day starts at, pick the hour after your last late sale (00:00 to 06:00).
- Press Save Changes — order numbers restart at #001 at that hour, and every till and the kitchen screen follow it.
A late shift that runs past midnight keeps one series of order numbers. The Z-Report covers the day from when it was opened to when it was closed on the till.
