Install IBEX on Android, Windows or browser

Android

1. Open the sign-in page and tap Download Apps (or scan its QR code with the tablet).
2. Install the POS app, allowing installs from unknown sources when Android asks. Riders install the Rider app instead — see install the rider app.
3. Open the app. On Connect this terminal, enter the setup code from your welcome pack, or scan the one under Admin → System Settings → Add another terminal.
4. Sign in — the device now counts towards your licence's device limit. If every place is already taken, sign-in still completes, but the till takes no new orders until a place is freed — see device limit reached.

Windows

1. Download ibex-pos-windows.zip from Download Apps.
2. Unzip it and double-click install.bat — no administrator rights are needed.
3. Open ibex POS from the Start Menu or the desktop, connect it with the setup code, and sign in.

Browser

1. Open your restaurant's IBEX web address in Chrome or Edge.
2. Sign in as normal.
3. Receipts print through the browser's print dialog. For silent printing to a USB receipt printer, use the Windows app, which brings its own print service.
