Customise an item with variants, modifiers and notes
Tailor any line — size, options, extras and a note for the kitchen.
- Tap an item that has options — sizes, spice levels, add-ons or any modifier group, required or optional — and the customise window opens (items without options go straight onto the order).
- Pick a Portion Size and a Spice Level if the item has them.
- Answer its modifier groups (a Required group must be answered) and choose any Add-ons & Extras.
- Type any Special Instructions, check the Unit Price, then tap Add to Order — with nothing required, it works at once.
To add or change a note later, tap the note button on the line.
Tip
Notes print on the kitchen ticket, so keep them short and specific — “well done”, “nut allergy”.
